Mobile Time Tracking involves using a mobile device to clock in or out through GPS technology or a Wi-Fi connection. With the GPS method, employees must enter the requested radius. With a Wi-Fi connection, employees must connect to the Wi-Fi in the system.
Employees can keep just time tracking by GPS or by Wifi, and the system will check one of the two methods above to validate.
Tanca integrates with Ronald Jack, Zkteco, HikVision, and Hanet AI Cameras. We depend on the model to integrate the attendance machines. Integrating the Attendance Machines and AI Camera will automatically sync all employee clock-in/clock-out data to the mobile.
The Attendance Machine verifies using fingerprint or face authentication technology, while the mobile verifies using location and connection authentication technology. Setting up Attendance Machines will take more time than setting up mobile devices.
Attendance Machines are fixed at the office, but the mobile can be used anywhere. The mobile can track time in areas far from the city, such as projects, construction works, etc.
When the Attendance Machine malfunctions, the employee cannot use it. However, when the phone malfunctions, employees can still replace it or propose editing the attendance time later.
The timekeeper can connect to the Access control system, but the phone cannot.
Electronic timesheets are a (necessary) upgrade over traditional paper timesheets.
